Michiru is a rich, elegant, and talented girl. (Usagi refers to her as a "princess.") Michiru's
talents include painting and playing the violin. At an Englishman's party, Michiru is asked to
provide the music. Haruka accompanies her on the piano. Michiru also demonstrates an ability to
swim very well. She races against Ami and beats her, much to the disgrace of Ami.

As Sailor Neptune, she becomes more harsh and daring. She is loyal to her mission of finding the
talismans and saving the Moon Kingdom. She'd risk her life and her partner's if it meant success
of the mission. When Michiru first learned of her fate as a Sailor Soldier, she was also told that there
was another person who would be her partner. She would know this person immediately when she met them.
Her first encounter with Haruka proved her to be that special person. Although, Haruka was not as
receptive to what Michiru had to say.
